Black N White Wednesdays (Week 13)

I’m out of new pictures again so last night I dug up some old ones & changed them to black n white. I hope you all enjoy these (may use them all for my next few posts). This is a tree that I took at my daughter’s soccer game a little over a year ago.

Winter Brings Death

Shot this one this past Saturday at my mom’s house. No idea what kind of tree it is or what these blooms look like when they are alive. Thought it was sharp looking though.

Black Walnut Tree Bark

This is from a black walnut tree in our yard. It looks like it could be over 100 years old. It has some dead limbs & hollow spots in it, but still put out alot of walnuts not too long ago.

Up A Tree

Got this one in my parent’s backyard yesterday.

Tree In The Fog

That is the lake all behind this tree, but it was way to foggy to see it. Thought this shot was kinda cool…maybe even a little spooky for Halloween.

Dead Tree and Some Flowers

I got this one yesterday morning when I was trying to get the sunrise. This lake is so big, it has a dam on it. During the winter they let alot of water out of the top side (where we live) into the bottom to make room for all the rain, snow & all that. Where I found this tree at is normally under water. The lake is real low right now.

Some Fall Colors

These were growing all around the bottom of this big tree.

Real Old Pine Tree

We just moved to where we are now back in May & I can’t find the book to my camera. I’m really trying to learn how to work all the functions on this thing. It’s an Olympus E-510. There are so many buttons & things to do on it. I really want to learn how to change the aperture…I know that’s where it will focus on the main thing & everything else will be out of focus but I can’t figure it out. Anyway, I did finally find on it how to take pictures in black- n- white so enjoy this view of looking up into an old pine tree.
