Pots On The Fence

This hangs on the fence at my mom’s house out by the pool. Part of her landscaping in the summer for swimmers…lol.

Still Alive

Maybe these live during the winter…I don’t know much about flowers, but it so cool to me how everything around is dead now & these beautiful little things still look great. They really pop out since there is not much other color around them. These are in the front entrance of a big industrial park.

I’m gonna try to post more than one picture a day over the next couple of days because of the holidays & me being off Friday-Monday. I will be doing the Christmas thing with the family & riding my new 4-wheeler that my awesome little brother bought me & brought over this past Saturday. Maybe I will take my camera on one of these rides & see what I can get?

Hanging Pot (black n white)

Ok, Ok…here is the black n white one too…which do you like better?

Hanging Pot

This is another shot that I got from my Mom’s house. They have a swimming pool & alot of landscaping around it. Of course, it’s not real pretty right now because of the season. This a pot that hangs on the fence beside the pool that normally has real pretty flowers in it. I turned it into a black and white because I love black and whites, but really liked the rusted chain that it hangs from so I’m gonna post it as a color one.

Winter Brings Death

Shot this one this past Saturday at my mom’s house. No idea what kind of tree it is or what these blooms look like when they are alive. Thought it was sharp looking though.

Orange Flower

My mom has had these little flowers for such a long time around the swimming pool, but I forgot what they are called. They are always so pretty, but seem to be dying off for the winter now. Still look better than most even at this stage.

Yucca Bush

This is sitting in the empty lot next to our place. We had these on each side of our driveway when I was growing up. They get pretty flowers on them but the end of these things will sure stick you. Very sharp.

Dead Tree and Some Flowers

I got this one yesterday morning when I was trying to get the sunrise. This lake is so big, it has a dam on it. During the winter they let alot of water out of the top side (where we live) into the bottom to make room for all the rain, snow & all that. Where I found this tree at is normally under water. The lake is real low right now.

More Wildflowers

These were growing on the bank under that bridge I shot. Not sure what they are, but there were alot of bees on them which was weird to me because it seemed to be to cool for them.

A Little Green

This is normally under water right here. Just to the right of the branches in the bottom right hand corner is where I found those white flowers that I posted earlier. This is a very big lake we live on (98,000 acres) & this is just a little spot off the bank that fills up when the lake is full.
